There are two ways for a company to reach people who have never heard of it. The first is to wait: publish content, earn referrals and slowly climb the search results. The second is to pay for placement and appear today. Paid media is the second one, and it has a specific advantage: you choose the moment you want to be present.
On search platforms that moment is the query. When someone types “dentist near me”, the person has already decided they need a dentist. All that is left is choosing which one. On social platforms the situation is different: nobody opened Instagram to buy anything, so the ad has to create the interest from scratch. Different mechanics. They call for different copy, different images and different expectations.
What decides how much you pay per click
On search platforms, the amount you pay per click does not depend on your bid alone. They also assess the quality of the experience: whether the ad copy matches the query, whether the landing page delivers what the ad promised, and how often people click that ad. The better that combination, the lower your cost per click tends to be for the same position.
In practice, advertising without fixing the landing page is expensive twice over. You pay more for every click and convert fewer of the clicks you get. That is why, in our process, the landing page is adjusted before any campaign goes live.
Why tracking comes before launching
A campaign with no tracking installed produces numbers you cannot decide anything with. You see clicks and impressions, but you never learn which keyword, which ad or which audience produced a real enquiry. Without that, optimisation becomes guesswork. And the platforms themselves, which now distribute budget automatically, are left with no signal to work from.
So we install conversion tags before switching campaigns on: form submitted, WhatsApp click, call started, purchase completed. From then on every decision rests on something. Worth stating plainly: results vary with sector, competition, budget and how quickly your team answers enquiries. So we do not promise a number of sales. We promise method, transparency and continuous adjustment.
